On June 9, CUEB signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Fengtai District Human Resource Public Service Center in Conference Room 1 of Boyuan Building. Tian Xinggeng, the Investigator in Level 4 of University Students Affairs of Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau; Tianying, the Investigator in Level 4 of Beijing Employment Service Center; Huo Dongfang, the Section Chief of Beijing Graduate Students Service Center; Liu Guohong, the Director of Fengtai District Human Resources Public Service Center; managers of Xicheng District and Fangshan District Human Resources Public Service Center; Wang Jinbao, Minister of Office of Student Affairs; Wang Ke, Deputy Party Secretary of School of Economics; Liu Hui, Deputy Party Secretary from School of Finance; Sun Qingfu, Deputy Party Secretary of School of Labour Economics; Tian Yu, Deputy Party Secretary of School of Accounting; and Chen Pujing, Deputy Party Secretary of College of Business Administration attended this meeting. Jiang Beibei, Vice Minister of Office of Student Affairs presided over the meeting.

Minister Wang Jinbao expressed his gratitude to the participants for their supports for the employment of CUEBers, and introduced the basic situation of CUEB in terms of school history, discipline construction, and students' employment tendency. He emphasized that we always keep sound cooperative relations with local Human Resources and Social Security Sector; this strategic agreement and symposium will further deepen the cooperation in providing more opportunities and giving supports for the employment of CUEBers and for the development of Fengtai District. Director Liu Guohong briefly introduced Fengtai District Human Resources Public Service Center and its service development. With the signing of this agreement, Liu hoped to strengthen cooperation with CUEB, such as introducing jobs and inviting professional tutors to give more comprehensive career guidance for students. This shall give full play to local Human Resources and Social Security Sector, and supply more high-quality enterprise resources for universities and colleges. Fu Lei, from Office of Employment of Office of Student Affairs, introduced the full career education system for employment guidance in CUEB. The leaders of all schools introduced the employment situation of different majors respectively. They put forward advice for the cooperation with Fengtai District Human Resources Public Service Center to build an internship platform to help students better understand the employment market and employment policies, hoping to give full play to the advantages of CUEB intellectual resources and make contributions to the development of Fengtai District.

Minister Wang Jinbao and Director Liu Guohong signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both sides. According to the agreement, the two sides reached a strategic partnership in line with the principle of “resources sharing to educate students cooperatively, mutual benefit to seek common development” to jointly promote higher quality employment for CUEB graduates, and to provide more comprehensive employment services for local graduates.

Tian Ying congratulated the signing of the agreement in her concluding speech. She suggested that government departments must pay more attention to unemployed graduates. On the one hand, it can expand the coverage of vocational guidance, help students and enterprises understand the job market and the needs of students respectively so as to close the information gap between the two sides. On the other hand, it can support CUEB by carrying out the latest employment policies, employment trend analysis and new job introduction activities. At the same time, she hoped that experts and teachers of CUEB can join the career guidance expert group of Beijing Employment Service Center to provide better employment guidance for more graduates. She believed that the cooperation between Fengtai District Human Resources Public Service Center and CUEB is sure to be productive, and it can make further exploration for the cooperation between local human resources sector and universities, and then promote good cooperation experience in the future.

In the afternoon, the Public Service Center of Fengtai District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau joined hands with 20 high-level enterprises to take part in special recruitment activity in CUEB with the theme of " Job Waiting for You". The recruitment covers 12 sectors, such as film & television media, new energy, computer software, etc., providing 118 types of jobs and 572 positions. Our university organized graduates to participate in this recruitment fair.
