CUEB Receives Honors in the Beijing Education Trade Union’s Recommended Exhibition Activities for Workplace Morale Building
Recently, Beijing Education Trade Union launched the Recommended Exhibition Activities for Advanced Staff Morale in 2021 and started the acceptance of the Model Workplace Family of School Staff of Beijing Federation of Trade Union. During this activity, the School of Public Finance and Taxation, the School of Labor Economics, and the School of Urban Economy and Public Administration of CUEB were awarded the Advanced Faculty Morale Award of Beijing Education Trade Union. In addition, the Labor Union of CUEB also won the title of Model Workplace Family of School Staff of Beijing Federation Trade Union.
These Recommended Exhibition Activities for Morale Building are designed to comprehensively implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, practice the principles of the 19th CPC National Congress, and the second, third, fourth and fifth plenary sessions of the 19th Central Committee. As well as this they will carry out General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on working class and trade union works, especially the important spirit of strengthening the “three efforts” (expand the coverage of local unions, enhance service consciousness of trade unions, and advance the development of unions) on the construction of local union, and will implement the spirit of the 17th National Congress of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the 14th National Congress of the Beijing Federation of Trade Union and the 7th plenary meeting of the 10th Beijing Education Trade Union. All this is to further enable local unions to strengthen their political consciousness, become more advanced, and better represent the people. In this way, the construction level of the morale of teaching staff can be fully perfected.
The Party and government organizations of the School of Public Finance and Taxation, the School of Labor Economics, the School of Urban Economy and Public Administration of CUEB highly value and support the work of the school labor union, thus making great strides in reforming and innovating the union. For example, proactively promote the union’s development democratically and politically, protecting the legitimate rights of all staff, strengthening theoretical and political guidance, improving the quality of staff and advancing the construction of labor unions. As a result, the construction of a close family in the teaching staff makes great headway, enabling a landscape in which the Party, government and labor union make joint efforts to build a harmonious group, which makes the teaching faculty of CUEB really view the labor union as “the true home to staff” and shows that trade union cadres are the most reliable “Work Family”, which is an idea worth learning from and promoting.
The Labor Union at CUEB has been attaching great importance to morale building for many years. By now, CUEB boasts a great number of titles, including the Small Model Family of School Staff Award of Beijing General Federation of Trade Union, nine Advanced Faculty Family Awards of Beijing Education Trade Union, and eighteen Warm Stages of Beijing General Federation of Trade Union. Furthermore, the Labor Union at CUEB successively won the titles of Model Family for School Staff of Beijing General Federation of Trade Union, Model Family of School Staff of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, and Model Family of School Staff of Beijing Federation of Trade Union. Leveraging this Recommended Exhibition Activities for Morale Building, the Labor Union at CUEB will continue to strengthen the construction of various institutions of the teaching-staff family, improve the management of the unit accounts, and offer adequate funding to ensure the smooth daily operation of the teaching-staff family. Besides, the Labor Union at CUEB is also going to pay attention to cultivate the leading role of advanced models, intensify the publicity of building a home away from home for all staff, and foster an enabling environment to further promote the construction of the teaching-staff family. Through this, we can strive to create a conducive working atmosphere that is based on warmth, harmony and happiness and make greater breakthroughs in the construction of the teaching-staff family.
