Executive Deputy Secretary General of CERDS Li Hua, Other Delegates Come to CUEB for Discussion on Cooperation
On the morning of November 3rd, a delegation led by Li Hua, Executive Deputy Secretary General and Director of the Office of China Enterprise Reform and Development Society (CERDS), Liu Dongdong, Director of CERDS Credit Committee, and Liu Wenshu, Deputy Director of CREDS Credit Committee, came to CUEB to discuss cooperation. Wang Yonggui, Vice President of CUEB, Zhao Xiling, Director of the External Relations and Cooperation Office of CUEB, Vice Chairman of China ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) Institute and Secretary General of CUEB Alumni Association and Beijing Municipal Universities Education Foundation, Liu Xuexin, Dean of the College of Business Administration and Executive Director China ESG, Fan Hejun, Deputy Director General of Scientific Research Office, and Shao Lili, Deputy Derector of External Relations and Cooperation Office and Vice Secretary of Alumni Association, participated in the discussion. The two sides exchanged ideas on research publicity, results publication, standard establishment and talent cultivation in China ESG research and reached preliminary agreement on strategic cooperation.
At the beginning, Li Hua introduced the basic information, operational structure, and project platform as well as the research achievements of CERDS. Zhao Xiling presented the history of CUEB and its alumni network and presented the founding background of China ESG. Liu Xuexin gave an in-depth introduction to the achievements and history of China ESG. And Fan Hejun shared information about CUEB’s scientific researches and research platform construction.
Afterwards, both sides had in-depth exchanges and agreed that they had the basis for comprehensive strategic cooperation based on common values and complementary advantages, hoping the framework of strategic cooperation and long-term communication mechanism could be established as soon as possible to do a good job in benefiting China and the people in their activities.
On behalf of CUEB, Wang Yonggui extended a warm welcome to visitors from the delegation of CERDS. It is hoped that both sides will channel their energy into a solid partnership and develop capabilities to promote all-round cooperation and share findings, especially in the research of China ESG. Meanwhile, both sides will realize the integration of production, learning, scientific research and practical application with greater influence, so as to deeply serve the grand national development strategy.
In the end, the two sides made further agreement on specific issues including the second ESG Forum and the development of ESG standards and index release. Li Hua commented that they noticed the speed and enterprising spirit of CUEB and hoped that both sides could constantly step up the accomplishments of the comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement.
