In order to strength cooperation, and advance high-quality development of tax-related service industries, recently, a panel of people attended Beijing National Tax Law Research Center of Philosophy and Social Sciences to share opinions on their own investigation. The meeting took place in the presence of many professional people, including Xie Bin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of China, Certified Tax Agents Industry and Executive Vice President of China Certified Tax Agents Association, and Zhang Xiaoping, deputy secretary general of China Tax Association. The forum was held by Hao Ruyu, chief expert of the National Tax Law Research Center. Before the forum, a cordial conversation was held between Han Xianzhou, University Party secretary, Vice-president Wang Yonggui, and Vice-president Xie Bin.

Hao Ruyu introduced the main achievements made by the Beijing National Taxation Law Research Center in providing suggestions for the development of the national tax industry and actively promoting the legislation of tax accountants. Cao Jingtao, director of the Research Center made a detailed introduction of their achievements on academic research in recent years, proposals for the CPC Central Committee, and promotion for tax-related industries. Ding Yun, deputy director of the National Tax Law Research Center, mentioned their intensive cooperation with China Certified Tax Agents Association in recent years and their frequent participation in the Association’s affairs.

Xie Bin, on behalf of members of the Association, express sincere thanks Hao Ruyu who has always paid attention on the development of the certified tax agents by giving his full support, and spoke highly of the achievement made by the Research Center. Meanwhile, he pointed out that the Association need to conduct further cooperation with the Research Center by giving full attention to its role as a think tank, in which it provides intellectual support for the high-quality development of tax accountants. At the end, Xie Bin offered several suggestions for what should be done in the future and put forward some expectations for the direction of the co-operation.

Hao Ruyu concluded the forum. He pointed out that the tax accountant industry is gaining more and more attention from the whole society, especially from college students. For example, the number of applicants for the tax accountant examination has reached 860,000 in 2021, revealing it as a rising industry with promising prospects. For universities, the healthy development of the tax accountant industry is not only an important guarantee to deliver better education for taxation majors, but also an inevitable requirement for the country to train high-end talents in tax-related service industries. In order to promote the high-quality development of this industry, the National Tax Law Research Center will continue to intensively cooperate with the China Association of Certification in all respects, and give full play to its role as a think-tank in terms of the construction of tax-related service teams, talent training, tax accountant industry legislation and research projects. All these will make contributions to the development of this industry.

After the meeting, the group visited the achievements that the Research Center presented in the school archive, and highly appreciated this presentation. In addition, relevant members from the Business Standards Department, China Certified Tax Agents Association and the Party Committee Work Department, and Wang Jingda, deputy director of the National Tax Law Research Center are also present.
