CUEB saw another special graduation season in June, the midsummer. In line with the current complex pandemic prevention and control situation, we decided to complete all graduation procedures online. Even separated by long distance, the intimacy between us has never been weakened. With deep attachment, teachers carefully packed up documents for graduates and extended best wishes to them, hoping that they can always keep in mind our school motto: “Advocate morality, value competence, strategize national development, and serve the people”, working tirelessly and dedicatedly in their respective posts.

Teachers from the College of Urban Economics and Public Administration volunteer to sort and package archives for graduates of 2022.

In response to the pandemic prevention and control, teachers from the College of Business Administration finish graduation work in a systematic, innovative and customized manner. They prepare the graduation gifts with sunflowers as a symbol, record a song themed Don’t Say Goodbye and offer an online column called Words for Graduates from the College of Business Administration. All of these efforts represent best wishes for all graduates to embrace life positively.

Teachers from the School of Economics arranged the graduates’ archives and have their graduate registration forms and academic transcripts stamped. In addition, they arrange the documents for political examination and help the graduates to transfer their CPC or CYL memberships. Besides, they also prepare nice gifts for them. 

Teachers from the School of Accounting cooperate with each other to move, sort and pack up the documents including archives. The school has also tailored academic dresses for graduates as a gift, hoping they can start their careers with these wonderful memories.

Teachers from the School of Labor Economics collate documents for graduation and arrange archives for students. In addition, they pack up necessary documents and gifts for students and set up a hotline to answer graduation-related questions.

As a saying goes in China, I feel sad when parting but long distance cannot stop my missing for you. Teachers from the School of Culture and Communication are fully dedicated to work like file arrangement, online answer and delivery of certificates. which are all conducted smoothly and orderly. Apart from that, the school prepares many presents, such as tailored academic dresses, postcards and keychains, expressing best wishes and attachment for graduates.

In the School of Management and Engineering, teachers are ready to send the career documents by delivery, make the academic transcripts stamped and organize the documents of CPC memberships for graduates.

Faculties from the School of Public Finance and Taxation finish the archive arrangements for 321 graduates. In addition, they archive the documents of 66 full Party members, 23 probationary Party members, 25 Party activists and all the applicants for Party membership. Also, teachers prepare commemorative albums and doll bears for graduates, hoping they can have a more promising future.

Within 4 days, teachers from the School of Finance have effectively finished the archive arrangements of 489 graduates and advanced the related work including delivering the graduation and degree certificates and finishing the student status files’ management. In order to provide better services, the school opens an online channel for graduates to facilitate this work, such as sending electronic graduation and degree certificates in advance and delivering the career documents. Besides, the school kindly prepares gifts for graduates, such as carved paper lamps, fridge magnets.

The team of graduation work of the School of Statistics is featured with order and meticulousness. To be specific, the Office of Administration has given full support to logistics. The Office of Academic Affairs and Research has made archival bags for all kinds of degree and diploma materials for undergraduates and graduates. The Office of Student Affairs is responsible for archiving, employment, school leaving and affairs related to the Party and the Youth League.

School of Foreign Studies has sorted and sealed up 156 student status files of graduates, 53 archives of student Party members and 58 documents of the Party and the Youth League members. The school produces 329 electronic scanned copies of graduation and degree certificates and provides scanned copies or receiving services for some students in urgent need. For those graduates who are not able to return to school, teachers help to deliver their diplomas and degree certificates soon.

All departments of Overseas Chinese College work in coordination to sort archives and diplomas and package gifts for graduates.

School of Marxism Studies has formed a special team, made special plans and appointed special persons to ensure that school leaving procedures for graduates can be conducted in an orderly manner. Besides, the School has considerately prepared special gift packs, including USB flash disks, notebooks printed with badges of the school, graduation albums in memory of campus life and specially-made postcards from supervisors for graduates, in the hope that they would be unique mementos for every graduate.

International School of Economics and Management has provided one-on-one service for graduates. Teachers work in coordination to carry out school policies to help graduates with school leaving procedures, ensuring a timely response to each need. In addition, the school has elaborately prepared gifts full of blessing, such as special canvas bags, DIY T-shirts.

The faculty members of the School of International Education are busy with preparing graduate material for students in both Hongmiao and Huaxiang Campuses, so as to ensure that they can finish their study in CUEB and start their new journey smoothly. Graduation is a new beginning. We hope that international graduates can disseminate extensive and profound Chinese culture and peace-loving spirit to the whole world and tell China’s stories well, building a bridge for international community, and become personages in search of friendly communication and cooperation between China and the world.

Publicity Department of the School Party Committee, Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee, and Graduate Affairs Department of the Party Committee have cooperatively made such applets as “turning the tassel online”, “visiting the campus online” and “taking graduation photos online” for graduates of 2022. Moreover, Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee and Graduate Affairs Department of the Party Committee work together to launch graduation songs and videos, and push articles about graduation. Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee also prepares paintings and gifts for Graduates.

In the graduation season, the Archive collectively packages and transmits archives for graduates. It also receives Chinese and English report cards and keeps grade records on file.
