CUEB Officially Launched Corpus of Curriculum Ideological and Political Teaching Resource
Recently, CUEB has completely established the teaching resource corpus of curriculum of ideology and politics and put it into use for teachers and students. The corpus is another important cooperation with Xinhua Net following the Center for Curriculum Ideological and Political Teaching Research. It aims to share the advanced experience and practice of ideological and political construction to meet the needs for such teaching resources, form an enabling environment to effectively practice ideological and political education. In this way, it shall help raise the awareness and ability of teachers to conduct ideological and political education and build a high-level training system, so as to cultivate more professionals who can shoulder the responsibilities for our country’s prosperity and rejuvenation.
At present, the corpus platform has been launched simultaneously in the Xinhua Ideological and Political “University Zone”. Building on the strength of CUEB curriculum ideological and political construction and giving full play to the rich ideological and political media resources of Xinhua Net and it’s recognition, such a platform aims at providing teachers of CUEB with integrated service of teaching resource for the construction, communication, and sharing of curriculum ideological and political achievements.
The platform consists of several modules, such as news trends, policy documents, demonstration courses, hot topics, research achievements, famous teacher teams, research centers, etc. In this way, the platform, as a collection of our characteristic innovation in theoretical and practical exploration of curriculum ideological and political teaching in recent years, can meet diverse requirements for curriculum ideological and political construction. And that is how we can further advance such construction and build this platform into an important window for spearheading the construction of ideology and politics system in CUEB.
Going forward, we will deepen curriculum ideological and political construction within the framework of major ideological and political construction, and continue to integrate ideological and political elements into courses. Additionally, we will double our efforts to improve teachers’ education and their teaching competences so as to make ideological and political education rooted in each course. In the way, we can form an education landscape where the philosophy of “educating” is fully embraced by all teachers, and ideological and political curriculum and professional curriculum can enjoy coordinate development.
