On the morning of July 12, Wu Hui, Deputy Party Secretary of CUEB, with her delegation, went to Jayukou Village in Fozizhuang Township, Fangshan District, to express regards to Jiang Shengli, CUEB accredited village first secretary on behalf of the Party Committee of CUEB.

The group first held a symposium in Jiayukou Village. Cao Liquan, Deputy Party Secretary and head of Fozizhuang Township, introduced the development of the local village and highly appraised the achievements of Comrade Jiang Shengli's work after Jiang took office as the first secretary. Cao thanked CUEB for its support in supplying professionals and expected for more multi-dimensional cooperation with a wider coverage and scope. Then Jiang Shengli reported on his work and life in the past 8 months.

Wu Hui first thanked the Party and government leadership team of Fozizhuang Township for cultivating our cadres. She quoted an old Chinese saying “When everybody adds firewood, the flames rise high,” expressing CUEB’s willingness for a long-term cooperation with the village, and explained future plans, including a targeted enhancement of our strength with talent exchange to help local industries untie problems. The goal is to contribute to rural revitalization and capital development in the new era. At the same time, Wu expected Comrade Jiang to constantly improve his work and cooperate with the two committees (Village Party Branch Committee and Villagers’ Committee) so as to promote the governance and construction of Jiayukou Village. After the symposium, Wu Hui and her delegation visited the Village Clinic, Residents’ Bookstore, and Begonia Valley Path for further cooperation and exchange.
