The 3rd Session of the 6th Council (Enlarged) Meeting of the Federation of University Sports of Beijing (FUSB) was held in Beijing Qiaobo International Conference Center from August 23 to 24. Teachers from CUEB attended the meeting under the leadership of Chen Runyuan, General Party Secretary of the Sports Department, He Kai, Deputy Secretary and Director of the General Party Branch and Wang Changyou, Deputy Director of the Branch. In the meeting, participants reviewed the overall work of FUSB in 2021 and the assessment of the implementation of Basic Standard for Sports Work in Higher Education. For excellent performance in the effective implementation from the year 2018 to 2021, outstanding universities and presidents were honored, so were those universities that won the Sunshine Cup and Sunrise Cup of Sunshine Sports League among Capital colleges and universities in 2021.

Our school received recognition for its outstanding achievements in the events held by FUSB in 2021. We were awarded three honors mentioned above, namely, outstanding university, outstanding president, and the Sunshine Cup.Wu Chunxia, a teacher from our school, delivered a speech at the meeting as a representative of the Sports Dance Branch.

Over the years, our school has been working hard to promote the education philosophy, the modes, and the methods in physical education. Always keeping health first, we work to advance the integration of physical education and the ideological and political education, of in-class and extracurricular activities, as well as that of "teaching, practicing, and competing". It is to help students enjoy exercise, enhance their physical fitness, improve their personality and temper their willpower, and therefore lay a solid foundation for the overall high-quality development of our physical education.
