On the afternoon of September 27, Gao Wenjuan, Secretary and Director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of People's Government (SASAC) of Fengtai District, and the second-level inspectors paid a research visit to CUEB. Accompanied by Han Xianzhou, Party Secretary of CUEB, they visited the School History Museum and held a symposium presided over by Han in the Tianlang Hall of Boyuan Building.

At the beginning of the symposium, Han Xianzhou welcomed Gao Wenjuan and her team. Han pointed out that the two sides have been cooperating closely for a long time and hoped to take this opportunity to strengthen communication and deepen cooperation. He stressed that CUEB is a municipal high-level research university of Beijing, with its main campus located in Fengtai District. There are excellent teachers and students, first-class disciplines and strong research capabilities. Over the years, supported by discipline advantages and characteristics of majors, and based in Beijing and serving the capital, CUEB has made significant contributions to the economic development of Beijing and Fengtai District, the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the optimization of megacities’ governance capabilities, and the construction of think tanks. We hoped that both sides can continue to explore the establishment of a better cooperation mechanism and a higher-level cooperative research platform, so as to provide intellectual support for the development of relevant enterprises in Fengtai District. Han also pointed out that, as an important institute to “cultivate talents for the Party and the country”, universities should implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education. He hoped that both sides could strengthen cooperation in promoting students' employment, improve the construction of internship bases, and help students with their career counseling, so as to provide more abundant and high-quality employment resources for them. At the same time, Fengtai District boasted rich resources for off-campus practical education. The two sides can deepen cooperation in daily ideological and political education of college students through Party building activities, social practice and volunteer services, etc., so as to conduct “Broader Ideological and Political Education” for college students in the new era with the most vivid achievements of social development.

Gao Wenjuan, on behalf of the SASAC of Fengtai District, thanked CUEB for its long-term support and help to the relevant work of Fengtai District. Briefing the basic development situation of Fengtai District and the functions of the SASAC in detail, Gao emphasized that CUEB plays an important role in the economic development of Fengtai District. She hoped that in the future in-depth cooperation will be carried out on optimizing enterprise management system, risk assessment and evaluation, integrated development of industry, education and research, and epidemic prevention and control, etc. What’s more, experts and scholars are welcome to carry out cooperative research with enterprises in Fengtai District, guide all aspects of the work, so as to power the development of high-caliber industrial cluster and jointly create vibrant modern state-owned enterprises. 

In the exchange and sharing part of the symposium, the two sides carried out an in-depth discussion accordingly. Cao Huailiang and Yuan Huitao, Vice Director and members of the Party Committee of the SASAC, Liu Jiangwei, the General Managers of Beijing State-owned Capital Operation and Management Company Limited of Fengtai District, and the comrades of the Office of the SASAC, Property Right Management Section, Assessment and Evaluation Section, Party Building Office, and Planning and Development Section of Fengtai District attended the meeting, alongside with the comrades of the Party and Government Office, Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee, Academic Affairs Office, Office of Research, College of Business Administration, School of Public Finance and Taxation.
