Recently, Stanford University has released 2022 Global Top 2% Scientists List. Four scholars of CUEB are selected among “2022 Impact List”, namely, Wang Yonggui, Chen Wei, Wang Dadi, and Zhang Dongyang.

Released on Elsevier’s Mendeley Data, the list of global top 2%scientists is the cooperation between Elsevier and Professor John P. A. Ioannidis’ team. It serves as a comprehensive criterion to measure scientists’ long-term research performance and shows scientists’ influence more objectively. The list selects global top 2% scientists from about 7 million scientists who are classified into 22 research fields and 176 subfields, measuring their “Career-Long Impact” and “2022 Impact”. Based on Scopus data, this selection considers 6 standards, including papers cited times, H index, and HM index. Once the scientist is selected, it means that he or she has a high impact over the world in the research field. This 2022 version was released on October 10, 2022, collecting data from 1960-2022, covering 200,409 scientists. The list is divided into “Career-Long scientific Impact list (1960-2022)” and “2022 scientific Impact list.”
