Li Longjiang Attends CUEB Symposium

On the afternoon of April 19, a symposium in CUEB was attended by Li Longjiang, Director of Fengtai District Taxation Service, State Taxation Administration (short for FDTS), Xie Yun and Jiang Guonan, Deputy Directors of FDTS, Li Zhe, Director of Tax Service Office of FDTS, Li Meng, Head of Lize Taxation Office of FDTS, Yao Linxiu, member of the Standing Committee of the CUEB Party Committee and CUEB Vice President, and related officials of the School of Public Finance and Taxation and Division of Financial Administration. Liu Xuewei, Party Secretary of the School of Public Finance and Taxation presided over the symposium.

 

 

Yao introduced the current situation of CUEB, especially the disciplinary features and development orientation as a municipal university. On behalf of CUEB, he appreciated FDTS for giving continuous support and guidance in students’ internships and jobs and tax policies. As we seek for further cooperation achievements, he mentioned that we could build a regular communication mechanism that can help us conduct organized researches to solve critical, challenging and hotspot problems in capital development. 

 

 

Li said that the leaders and experts of CUEB have maintained close ties with taxation departments, and greatly facilitated the taxation research and reform in Beijing. As Fengtai District enjoys a multi-dimensional and promising future for its economy, FDTS will work better with all CUEBers through strengthening cooperation in personnel nurturing, social services and researches, thus advancing economic and social progress in Beijing. 

 

Li Hongxia, Dean of School of Public Finance and Taxation, reported on the social services offered by the School and suggested intensifying communication with taxation departments. Wang Xiaoting, Director of Division of Financial Administration, introduced the financial situation and tax-related work of CUEB, and hoped for more support and guidance from taxation departments. All participants discussed extensively in mutual concerns such as taxation publicizing, research cooperation, in-service training and students’ internships and jobs.
