On the morning of May 6, Xie Zhengguang, Director of Economic Committee of Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), visited CEUB with his delegation, including Li Shizhu (Director level) and Fan Hexiang, Vice Director of Beijing CPPCC, Ji Nan, Level Three Researcher of the Committee, and Li Xingtang, office staff member. They had discussions on key issues with Han Xianzhou, CPPCC member of Beijing and Secretary of the Party Committee of CUEB, and Liu Xuexin, Dean of College of Business Administration. Xie presided over the meeting.

During the meeting, Xie briefed the recent work of the Economic Committee, fully recognizing CUEB’s contribution to the development of the capital in recent years. Fan Hexiang and Li Shizhu presented the situation and requirements on the key issues. On top of that, Han Xianzhou presented the work of CUEB in personnel cultivation, scientific research, Think Tank construction, and the serving to Beijing as the Four Centers (namely, national political center, cultural center, center for international exchanges, and center for scientific discovery and technological innovation). Han also stated that the we will leverage the disciplinary and personnel strengths, and launch collaborative scientific research on key issues of Beijing CPPCC to promote high-quality development of the capital. Liu Xuexin reported the recent work. All the participants exchanged ideas on the key consultation topics.

Zhang Tong, Director of the Party and Government Office, Liu Qiang, Director of the Development Planning Division and the Academic Affairs Office, Fan Hejun, Deputy Director of the Research Office, and Sun Xiyi, Associate Professor of the College of Business Administration, participated in the meeting.
