President Wu Weixing Meets with President Dáire Keogh of Dublin City University

On March 3, Wu Weixing, President of CUEB, met with Dáire Keogh, President of Dublin City University, and his delegation at Hechang Hall, Boyuan Building. CUEB Vice President Li Kunpeng, the Standing Committee of CUEB Party Committee, also attended.

President Wu extended a warm welcome to the return visit of Dáire Keogh after a two-year interval, and extended sincere greetings for the Lantern Festival. He noted that since establishing cooperative ties nearly two decades ago, CUEB and Dublin City University have consistently upheld the principles of mutual respect and win-win cooperation, achieving fruitful outcomes in areas such as high-level exchanges and faculty and student exchanges. He added that both sides are expected to further deepen consensus, steadily advance joint education programs, and promote continued progress in inter-university cooperation, at a time when Micheál Martin’s visit to China has created new opportunities for bilateral relations.

Dáire Keogh expressed high appreciation for the achievements made through the long-standing cooperation between the two universities, and noted that Dublin City University attaches great importance to its strategic partnership with CUEB. He noted that the Business School of Dublin City University will leverage its disciplinary strengths and provide strong support for the development of cooperative education programs, and expected both sides to further expand cooperation in areas such as faculty and student exchanges and joint research.

Heads of the International Cooperation and Exchanges Office, the School of Business Administration, the School of Management and Engineering, among other relevant schools attended the meeting.
