School Open Day for College Admission Counseling Services
On June 25, CUEB hosted its 2024 School Open Day. Prospective students and their parents arrived with newly released scores and rankings, eager to learn about the admission policies and experience the campus atmosphere.
The enrollment seminar took place in the Lecture Hall of the Boxue Building. Meng Yifang, Director of the Admission Office, elucidated CUEB’s admission policies, available majors and enrollment numbers in 2024. Meng highlighted disciplinary edges, professional strengths, admission scores, and student employment prospects, answering questions from candidates and their parents.
Several leaders guided the consultation, including President Wu Weixing, Deputy Secretary of CUEB Party Committee; Meng Bo, Deputy Secretary of CUEB Party Committee; Vice President Li Xiaomu, and CUEB Party Committee members and Vice Presidents Yao Linxiu, Chen Yanbin, and Li Kunpeng. They engaged warmly with representatives from other universities, gaining insights into the key concerns of prospective students and parents.
Each college attached great importance to the event, setting up consultation booths, where 15 colleges interacted directly with candidates and their parents, showcasing their strengths.
27 partner universities converged at CUEB, providing prospective students and parents with “one-stop” consulting services regarding enrollment.
CUEB also opened various facilities, including the School History Museum, library, smart classrooms, laboratories, student dormitories, and dining halls, providing a comprehensive view of student life at CUEB.
To ensure the event’s success, functioning departments cooperated closely with colleges, including the Office of Party and Governance Affairs, Party Committee Publicity Department, Student Affairs Department of the Party Committee, Party Committee Security Department, Graduate Affairs Department of the Party Committee, International Cooperation and Exchange Office, Office of Logistics Services, the Youth League Committee, Library, Archives, the School History Museum, the Information Center, School Hospital, Asset Management Company, and Sports Department. Staff members and student volunteers warmly provided services, ensuring the event ran smoothly and orderly.
