On the afternoon of December 21,  Wu Jing, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Xincun Sub-district in Fengtai District (hereafter Xincun), and her delegation visited CUEB for further development of the “college-style” community. Xu Fang, Deputy Secretary of CUEB Party Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech, and Liu Hui, Vice Director of CUEB Party and Government Office, chaired the meeting.

During the meeting, Xu Fang greeted Wu Jing and her delegation, expressing gratitude for the support from Xincun over the years. She stated that CUEB and Xincun have a good foundation for cooperation, and the construction of a “College-Style” community meets the needs of high-quality development for both. This cooperation would also achieve extensive consultation, joint contribution, shared benefits and win-win cooperation between the two sides and become a new calling card for Beijing. She expressed the hope that both sides could jointly optimize the work plan, broaden the cooperation scope, and leverage each other’s advantages to achieve win-win results. CUEB will fully leverage its intellectual advantage and encourage teachers and students to provide suggestions and serve Xincun development. The two sides should also cooperate to build a “college-style” community with academic style and atmosphere and integrate chains of personnel, industry, innovation, and finance.

Wu Jing expressed her gratitude for the warm reception and briefly introduced the concept and development vision of this cooperation. She mentioned her hope to leverage the educational advantages of CUEB, integrate mutual resources, further establish a collaborative platform for resource sharing, and implement a list of projects tailored to CUEB to strengthen cooperation. Based on the construction of a “CUEB-Xincun Integration Zone”, we will advance integration between the two sides through innovation and entrepreneurship, culture sharing, and cooperation in Party building and community governance, so as to achieve win-win development.

Zhang Lei, Head of the Community Construction Office of Xincun Sub-district introduced the work plan. The two sides will conduct in-depth exchanges on Party building and research cooperation, social practice, personnel cultivation, employment and entrepreneurship of students, security, publicity, and cooperation methods.

Participants in this meeting included Li Youbin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Xincun Sub-district, heads from Party Department, Community Department, Office of Cooperation and Civic Activity Center of the District and CUEB’s leaders from Party and Government Office, Party Committee Organization Department, Party Committee Publicity Department, Party Committee Security Department, Office of Research, Personnel Office, Office of Logistics Services, Youth League Committee, School of Labor Economics and School of Culture and Communication.
