At the ceremony, Xu Fang introduced CUEB’s achievement of being awarded “National Civilized Campus”. Over its 69-year history, CUEB has fostered a unique campus culture featuring the “Camel Spirit”. In recent years, the School Party Committee has comprehensively implemented Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era , particularly Xi Jinping Thought on Culture, and carried out the Party’s education policy. It has adhered to the socialist orientation in running the university, fulfilled the basic task of fostering virtues through education, and established a working framework featuring unified leadership by the School Party Committee, coordinated efforts led by the Party Committee Publicity Department, collaborative management by relevant functional departments, and active participation by both faculty and students. CUEB has excelled in its fundamental task of fostering virtue through education and achieved remarkable outcomes in advancing spiritual civilization, playing a notable exemplary and leading role. Having been consecutively honored with the titles of “Capital Civilized Unit” and “Capital Civilized Campus” seven times in a row, it now stands as one of the only four universities in Beijing selected for the prestigious “National Civilized Campus” accolade. As the first municipal university in the capital to receive this distinction, CUEB attaches great significance to this achievement. This important honor will be permanently preserved in the School History Museum.

In the future, we will take this unveiling ceremony as a new starting point, and further integrate the development of spiritual civilization with the fundamental mission of fostering virtue through education and better serving the capital in the new era. We are committed to making greater contributions to building Beijing into a model of a leading education city.

The unveiling ceremony attendees included Zhao Guang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Director of both the Organization Department and United Front Work Division; Fu Lin, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Director of the Publicity Department, along with heads of relevant functional departments and representatives of faculty and students.
