On the afternoon of September 3, Meng Bo, CUEB Deputy Party Secretary led a team to Shougang Park to visit CUEB volunteers at China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), and communicated with Wang Taipeng, Deputy Secretary of Beijing Municipal Youth League Committee and on-site conductor of the volunteer service command of the CIFTIS, and other relevant leaders. Hu Wen, secretary of the School Youth League Committee, Wang Xiaoou, head of the Shougang on-site coordination group, Liu Ying, head of the overall coordination group, and some of the post employers escorted Hu in this visit.

Meng Bo, Wang Taipeng and other team members conveyed greetings to our volunteers in the education section of the exhibition, and communicated with the team leaders about the work and service experience. Meng highly praised the volunteering spirit, and conveyed the concern of CUEB Party Committee. He hoped that the students would make persistent efforts to guarantee the major national activities, thus showing the youthful spirits of CUEBers.

Afterwards, Meng Bo and the team had a talk with the students at Shougang Volunteer Rest Area. At the symposium, Meng encouraged student volunteers in this honorable mission to work with pride, deeply understand China's role as a great power in promoting economic globalization and building a community with a shared future for mankind; to learn based on “self-improvement”, to experience society in deep practice, enrich their own experience, and improve their ability to address practical problems. In this way, they are expected to grow up with “self-confidence” and world outlook, and complete all tasks with higher standards and higher quality. Meng presented the volunteers with gifts and posed for photos with the students.

In this 2023 CIFTIS, a total of 38 teachers and students from CUEB serve as volunteers with dedication, friendship, mutual assistance and progress.
