CUEB Holds 2024 New Year's Art Show
CUEB held the 2024 New Year’s art show in Zhuoyu Auditorium on December 28. Attendees included Wang Wenju, CUEB Party Secretary, Meng Bo, Deputy Party Secretary, Mao Baizhan, member of the Standing Committee of CUEB Party Committee and Secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission, Yao Linxiu, member of the Standing Committee of CUEB Party Committee and Vice President, heads of related departments, Deputy Secretaries of the Party Committees and General Party Branches in charge of student work in all schools, and over 300 students.
The art show began with the chorus “To the Clouds” conducted by Chen Haimu and performed by the CUEB faculty choir. This song told the extraordinary story of CUEBers and CUEB.
“Festive Overture” perfectly combined symphony and oriental music in an exciting melody.
The dance “Heavenly Bath” unfolded a harmonious picture between man and nature through the elegant movements of dancers, showing Tibetan people’s passion for life.
“Sunny Day” was presented by the a cappella group, symbolizing that hardships and difficulties could be overcome and we should embrace the future.
The magic “Phantom” made the audience feel its charm.
The folk music ensemble “Snowy Land” made the audience feel the grandeur of the scenery through the sounds of musical instruments.
The dance “Yellow River” showed the Chinese people’s perseverance, which is commendable and will be passed on.
The chorus “Empty World” wished every CUEBer a fresh new year filled with the beauty of existence.
The street dance “Warm” performed by the FDF Dance Troupe showed the power of youth and love for life.
The drama “The Power of Learning” was a story about hard work, encouraging us to brave the challenges in the new era.
Finally, the classical dance “Lotus Drum Yue Song” makes the audience feel the culture and the scenery of the Jiangnan water town.
On the arrival of the New Year, the CUEB Student Art Group sincerely wished all teachers, students, and alumni a happy new year and all the best! All CUEBers will continue to focus on the “Six Projects” stated by CUEB Party Congress, concentrating efforts and forging ahead, consistently improving CUEB’s core competitiveness, and striving to write a new chapter in the high-quality development of the school!
