CUEB Professors Zhang Wenyang & Huang Jianhua Selected as Distinguished Professors

In the recently released Notice on the List of 11th Batch of Eligible Beijing High-Level Overseas Talents, CUEB Professor Zhang Wenyang and Professor Huang Jianhua were hornored as distinguished professors in the Beijing Haiju High-Level Overseas Talents Program. During the 12th Five-Year Plan period, CUEB introduced and recommended 7 experts as distinguished professors in the Program. They are Ding Chengri, Ma Shuangge, Zhu Ji, Liu Yufeng, Liang Hua, Zhang Wenyang and Huang Jianhua.

Appendix: Introduction of the 11th batch of Haiju Program experts at CUEB

1.Zhang Wenyang, PhD., chief professor with the University of York (Britain) and distinguished professor with CUEB International School of Economics and Management. His main research areas include financial big data analysis, non-parametric modeling, financial statistics, bio-statistics and medical statistics.

2.Huang Jianhua, PhD., professor with Department of Statistics, Texas A&M University, and distinguished professor with CUEB International School of Economics and Management. His main fields of study cover non-parametric, semi-parametric, functional and longitudinal data, large co-variance matrix estimation, statistic machine learning and applied statistics.
