On the afternoon of March 11, Quan Zhi, Director of the Department of Teaching Quality Evaluation and Control of Beijing Municipal Education Commission, paid a research visit to CUEB with Yang Yang and Wang Chao, cadres of the Department of Teaching Quality Evaluation and Control of Beijing Municipal Education Commission. Vice President Li Xiaomu presided over the meeting.

On behalf of CUEB, Li Xiaomu expressed a warm welcome and sincere thanks to the delegation and gave a brief introduction to our school. Li pointed out that CUEB attached great importance to undergraduate education review and evaluation, focusing on the requirements of the new round of review and evaluation programs. A series of measures have beenimplemented, such as the personnel training system, teaching resources and environment, and faculty building, all of which contributed to the ongoing comprehensive reform of education and teaching, and promoted the training of high-quality personnel. In addition, he expected that under the guidance of Department of Teaching Quality Evaluation and Control of Beijing Municipal Education Commission, we could fully understand the requirements of undergraduate education review and evaluation in municipal colleges and universities, analyze current problems and limitations, and strive to achieve the maximum improvement in the short term, thereby advancing educational capacity.

Quanzhi expressed his gratitude to CUEB for the invitation, gave high praise to the undergraduate education review and evaluation, and briefly introduced the overall arrangement, basic process, excellent experience, and practices of the review and evaluation in Beijing municipal colleges and universities. The new round of review and evaluation emphasizes the strong collaboration among the education committee, the evaluation experts, and the school, which formsa quality community. The essence is the inspection of the quality and capacity of the school’s personnel training by the educational administrative departments, evaluation departments, and experts.

Liu Qiang made a detailed overviewof the preparation for undergraduate education review and evaluation at CUEB, focusing on the development of the review and evaluation program, self-assessment and self-construction, self-assessment report, and featured case writing, review and evaluation publicity as well as education.

At the meeting, both sides had in-depth exchanges on the details of the review and evaluation progress.
