Three New Majors Boost CUEB's Development in Digital Transformation
Recently, the Ministry of Education released the 2023 accreditation and approval results for undergraduate programs nationwide. CUBE successfully obtained approval for three new majors: Digital Economy, Financial Technology, and Supply Chain Management.
In recent years, CUEB has implemented the Optimization and Reform Scheme for Undergraduate Education Disciplines and Programs issued by the Ministry of Education, so as to serve the development of Beijing in the new era and meet the personnel needs for a global digital economy benchmark city. To this end, CUEB has introduced key initiatives such as the Opinions on Implementing the Digital & Intelligent Transformation of Undergraduate Majors and the Draft ofAdministrative Procedures for the Construction and Dynamic Adjustment of Undergraduate Majors, thus stepping up digital & intelligent construction and transformation of all majors within the university.
Leveraging its academic advantages, CUEB has succeeded in incorporating three emerging undergraduate majors: Digital Economy, Financial Technology, and Supply Chain Management. Concurrently, CUEB has comprehensively promoted the Double Ten project for digital & intelligent transformation. This endeavor includes the ongoing development of the first batch of 10 digital and intelligent pilot majors, alongside 10 digital and intelligent micro-majors.
Going forward, under the spirit of the 5th Party Congress of CUEB, the school will further promote the Cultivation Project for developing more skilled personnel. Taking the opportunity of a new round of review and assessment for undergraduate education and teaching, the school will start with the construction of digital intelligence in majors and implement the One Program for One School approach. The school will draw on the experience and set a good example, thus making digital & intelligent transformation fully available to undergraduate majors.
