On October 29, the “2025 Overseas Universities International Education Fair: CUEB Special Session” took place at the Convention Center of Hongmiao Campus.

With the theme “Chart your course, shape the World”, the fair attracted 24 renowned overseas universities. Participants included the University of Birmingham, University of Leeds, University of Sheffield, University of Liverpool from the UK, and Massey University of New Zealand. Nearly 1,000 teachers, students and parents attended for on-site consultations and exchanges. Students and parents engaged in face-to-face talks with admission officers from these universities, inquiring about study-abroad policies, campus environments and application procedures. International undergraduate students also seized the opportunity to communicate directly with target universities, preparing for their academic planning.

CUEB attached great importance to the event. It was jointly organized by the Student Affairs Office, International Cooperation and Exchange Office, and the Training Center of the Operational State-owned Property Management Office. Responsible personnel from relevant departments and colleges, including the Office of Student Affairs, the Security Office, the Office of Operational State-owned Property Management, the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges, the College of Business Administration and Business School, participated in the event and interacted with overseas university representatives. Wei Huaying, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office and Deputy Director of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office, conducted in-depth exchanges with representatives from multiple overseas universities, initially establishing cooperative ties to expand international cooperation and enrich partner institution resources. Huang Suping, Deputy Dean of the School of Business Administration held discussions with overseas universities matching the school’s academic strengths, focusing on joint training, academic co-construction and student exchange programs.

The fair effectively promoted resource sharing and cooperation between CUEB and overseas universities. It enhanced CUEB’s influence in international education and added new momentum into the development of our internationalized education programs.
