As the spring is approaching, everything picks up a fresh look. CUEB is facing a new semester at the beginning of 2019, the year of the pig in China.

With everything running smoothly, this semester kicked off on February 25th. The campus appears a scene of prosperity in the coming warm weather. In the morning, students went to class in small groups and began their studies. Wearing big smiles on their faces, the teachers and students all show great confidence in and expectations for this semester.

Class audition, add/drop selection take place in the first week of this term (12：30pm on Feb. 25th to 16:00pm on March 1st). During this period, students can check the class introduction in Education Administration system and audit the class. After the add/drop period, they can check and confirm their own schedules, according to reports from Academic Affairs Office.

“By following a subscription called Academic Affairs Office of CUEB and then pressing the application system, you can see a check-in program named CUEB Jiuyan Class. Teachers must come to the classroom 5 minutes earlier and urge students to check in on time and make sure it is right. Students who are late for class for more than 30 minutes are regarded as truants” according to Zeng Qingmei, Deputy Director of Academic Affairs Office. This program will begin operating in the third week of this semester, offering online information service for teachers and students on absenteeism and late arrivals. It is believed that, through the application of this program, teaching management system will be strengthened, and teaching efficiency & quality be improved, thus ushering in a better atmosphere for teaching and learning.

Additionally, reporters learned from the Security Department that CUEB has carried out a series of work on a safe campus environment in order to enhance school security.

Being positive, energetic and driven, CUEBers are opening new chapters and creating new achievements in this semester.
