On March, 27th, CUEB Party Secretary Feng Pei, invited by Beijing Tiantan Hospital (BJTTH), led a team to visit the hospital so as to enhance cooperation between the two sides. Lu Ming, Party Secretary of BJTTH, Xiao Shuping, Deputy Party Secretary & Secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection expressed warm welcome to Feng and other delegates.

During the symposium, first of all, CUEB delegation watched a video about BJTTH. Then, Lu Ming, on behalf of BJTTH, welcomed Feng and his team, with an introduction of the history and development of BJTTH, the layout and department functions of the new hospital in Fengtai district. He said, on the very first day of the opening of this newly-built BJTTH on October 6th, 2018, the hospital received as many patients as it did in the original one. CUEB has organized students to participate in BJTTH’s Guardian Angel Voluntary Program. They gave great help in keeping treatment order directing departments, using self-help equipment and answering non-professional knowledge, for which Lu felt grateful. Lu also noted that CUEB and BJTTH are close to each other and hoped that they could strengthen communication. He sincerely suggested that CUEB professors could come to BJTTH to deliver lectures on politics and economics and in return, BJTTH would offer help in health management and health care. 

Feng showed great thanks to BJTTH and then presented CUEB’s history, features, majors, recruitment and employment figures. Feng said due to the fact that two sides’ being geographically close ensures a win-win and resource-shared cooperation in the opening era. He also hoped to further improve cooperation on medical security, health management, medical service of sudden illnesses on the basis of previous voluntary programs, in a bid to contribute more for CUEB staff and students, boosting their happiness.

Later, both sides had a discussion on medical service, shared use of facilities, recreational activities and training for BJTTH staff. Feng, on behalf of CUEB, gave souvenirs to BJTTH. After the meeting, Feng and the delegates visited the high-tech wards and medical security system.
