Beijing Models Come into CUEB: Listening to Touching Stories, Feeling the Power of Models to Promote the Dream Voyage
On October 26th, the lecture “Models for Coming into Universities & Approaching Million Students” was held in Academic Report Hall of Boxue Building. The activity was hosted by Publicity Department of Beijing Committee of the CPC, Beijing Committee for Construction of Spiritual Civilization, Education Work Committee of Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPC and Municipal Committee Lecturer Mission, and it was organized by Office of Student Affairs of CUEB. Over 2500 people got involved online and offline, including Ning Tongtong, the Grand-2 Researcher of Propaganda Department of Spiritual Civilization in Publicity Department of Beijing Committee of the CPC, Sun Haozhe, Vice President of CUEB, Deputy Party Secretary in charge of student affairs of all CUEB schools, all counselors, teachers and students. Ma Li, President of Office of Student Affairs presided over the lecture.
In his speech, Sun Haozhe pointed out that the “Beijing Model” is the excellent representative of the citizens of the capital, playing the role of a builder for better life, a leader in the innovation era, a defender for social harmony and an excellent cultural inheritor. A large number of outstanding models have shown up. He stressed that all teachers and students in CUEB should learn from Beijing Models, draw strength from their deeds, enhance sense of responsibility and mission, and convert them into conscious action of hard working, so as to welcome the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China with outstanding achievements.
Seven of the reporters from Beijing Models Delegation shared their touching stories, including Dancer Li Hui, Private Entrepreneur Gang Tian, Guardian Zhang Weidong, Contributor Wang Xiaoyue, Inheritor Chen Fei, Rescuer Dong Ping and Patriot Jiang Yao.
In the course of the speech, the whole audience broke out warm applause for several times. The teachers and students present were deeply moved by the deeds of the models. After the lecture, the student representatives went to the platform and offered their best wishes to the models.
