CUEB Vice President Sun Haozhe Leads to Inspect Work on School Opening and Anti-epidemic Measures

On the morning of March 10th, Sun Haozhe, Vice President of Capital University of Economics and Business (CUEB) led relevant delegations to inspect work on school opening and COVID-19 prevention and control of the following new semester.

 

Sun and his colleagues inspected No.1 health observation area, south gate, gymnasium, public bathrooms, supermarket, No. 2 Canteen, No. 5 Student Apartment and other key areas in the school. They learned in detail the preparation for school opening in terms of COVID-19 prevention and control, security, logistical support and services for life, and they also promoted corresponding work requirements after hearing every department’s work report.

 

 

 

At the management office of the No. 1 health observation area, Sun and his colleagues learned about related working system and process, such as regulation, check-in guide, personnel allocation and on-duty arrangement. Sun required relevant departments to work closely and refine work plans with more detailed processes.

 

Heads of relevant departments discussed at the gymnasium in terms of the vaccination activity of the main campus. It was learned that CUEB would set up a vaccination site in the gymnasium after students’ returning to school for the convenience of faculties and students. Sun emphasized two aspects: first, CUEB should actively communicate and cooperate with Beijing Municipal Government so as to strictly implement requirements of COVID-19 vaccination project; second, vaccination-related departments should coordinate well by making reasonable plans of working process and site layout so as to ensure a successful vaccination project.

 

At No. 2 Canteen, Sun and his colleagues inquired about food safety, types of dishes, restaurant order and other issues. They claimed that canteen should take various anti-epidemic measures and improve food hygiene and quality to ensure students’ food safety.

 

Lastly, Sun and other heads visited the No. 5 Student Apartment. After listening to the work report on dormitory and logistics support, they inspected corridors and learned anti-epidemic work on school opening, living environment, study and life. In addition, Sun highlighted that works including temperature measuring facilities management, periodic disinfection and students’ health management should be conducted orderly.

 

This inspection was accompanied by related heads from school’s Discipline Inspection Commission, the Supervisory Commissioner Office, the Party and Government Office, the Office of Student Affairs, the Security Department, the Graduate Affairs Department, the Information Office, the Office of Logistics Services, University Hospital, the Operational Assets Management Committee Office, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Office and other departments.
