On April 28, the 12th Presidents’ Forum for China Higher Financial and Economic Education was held in Shanxi Hotel. More than 260 presidents and financial experts from 75 colleges gathered to discuss the "New Stage, New Concept and New Pattern" of the high-quality development of China's financial and economic education. Fu Zhifeng, President of CUEB, was invited to give a keynote speech.

In his speech, with the title of " Thoughts on Promoting High-quality Development of Finance and Economics Universities", Fu Zhifeng explained key indicators for the high-quality development and introduced relevant reform practices of CUEB.

The forum was jointly sponsored by the Higher Financial & Economic Education Branch of China Higher Education Association and Shanxi University of Finance and Economics (SXUFE), and organized by SXUFE. Other keynote speakers included Fan Liming, President of Shandong University, Deng Hui, President of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, Liu Weiqi, President of SXUFE, Liu Jinlan, President of Tianjin University of Finance and Economics, Yu Haifeng, President of Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, Ge Baozhen, President of Tianjin University of Commerce, and Dong Zhaowei, Party Secretary of Hebei University of Economics and Business.

This Forum gathered experts and leaders from finance and economics universities. Focused on the theme of the forum, they analyzed and discussed the development of universities, conducted in-depth discussion on discipline construction, professional development and many other aspects, and fully exchanged experiences.
