On May 13, Group of CUEB Party Committee Theory Learning Centre (Expanded) went to Beijing Organising Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, and held a symposium with the leaders. Han Xianzhou, Party Secretary of CUEB, led the group members to visit the site of the Organising Committee and part of Shougang Park. CUEB group had a discussion with Zhang Liang, Director of Arrival and Departure Center of the Committee, Deputy Director of Arrival and Departure of the airport operation team, Zhang Xiufeng, Deputy Director of Volunteer Department, other members of the Committee, and heads of relevant departments.

At the symposium, Zhang Xiufeng warmly welcomed the arrival of group of CUEB Party Committee Theory Learning Centre and thanked CUEB for its great support. He said that CUEB owns a good foundation for volunteer work and will play an important role in servicing for Beijing Winter Olympic Games. The Volunteer Department of Beijing Organising Committee for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games will fully cooperate with CUEB on volunteer reserve and guarantee work.

Zhang Liang introduced the arrangement of arrival and departure in Beijing Winter Olympic Games. He said that the arrival and departure work is one of the three essential factors marking a successful Winter Olympic Games. Beijing Winter Olympic Games is facing unprecedented challenges. Thus Beijing Organising Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games will study and assess their work repeatedly, and accelerate the application of scientific and technological achievements to successfully accomplish service guarantee work. He suggested that volunteers from CUEB should actively participate in daily operation and major activities, so as to create more opportunities for students to join in the volunteer activities and social practice.

At the end of the symposium, Han Xianzhou expressed his gratitude to Beijing Organising Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games for its warm reception. He said that group of CUEB Party Committee theory learning Centre (Expanded) came here to "study" and "report for duty", aiming at thoroughly implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on the preparations for Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, and taking the spirit of Secretary Cai Qi's important speech into practice for the decisive victory in Beijing Winter Olympic Games. He showed that as the major university responsible for the volunteer service of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, CUEB will deeply understand the glory and responsibility of a "Olympic City" (Beijing is the world's first city to host both the Summer and Winter Olympics.), spare no efforts to do a better job in the service guarantee work, and strive to make greater contributions to hosting a Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, leaving a deep impression on the world.

During the study and research, the Group of CUEB Party Committee Theory Learning Centre (Expanded) visited the exhibition center of the Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Ren Wei, Director of the Recruitment and Management Division of the Volunteer Department, introduced the key points of the preparations for Beijing Winter Olympic Games, the overall constructions of venues and the outstanding achievements made by the Winter Olympic athletes. Going to the top of "three blast furnaces" in Shougang Park to overlook the it, focusing on the transformation and functional transformation of "industrial heritage", we can see the new landmark of the capital city's revival in the new era.

Heads in charge of the relevant division of the Volunteer Department in the Beijing Organising Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, volunteer managers of relevant venues, together with heads from CUEB in charge of relevant works, and head of the second-level Party organization, as well as the seconded cadres of CUEB serving the Winter Olympic Games, participated in the research and study together.
