CUEB and University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement
On December 9, the China-Vietnam University Exchange Conference was held in Beijing. Wu Yan, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Education of China, and Nguyen Kim Son, Minister of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, attended the conference and delivered speeches. CUEB Vice President Yao Linxiu, a member of the Party Standing Committee of CUEB Party Committee, attended the conference and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (CEH University) in Vietnam.
Nguyen Kim Son said that the educational exchanges and cooperation between the two countries are a solid foundation for sustainable development. He encouraged universities from the two countries to further strengthen personnel cultivation, research cooperation, and exchanges, thus amplifying their contribution to social and economic development.
Both universities engaged in discussions on key topics including “Digital Transformation powered by Technology in Higher Education, “Driving Social and Economic Development with Personnel Cultivation and Scientific Research”, and “Strengthening Ties of Cultural Exchanges with Language Mutual Learning.”
At the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement, Yao Linxiu, on behalf of CUEB, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with CEH University. The agreement encompasses collaboration on student exchanges, research initiatives, and the enrollment of international students in China.
Founded in 1976, CEH University is a prestigious university in Vietnam with a high reputation in the fields of education and training, scientific research, economic management consulting, and law.
Liu Wenchuan, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges, also attended the event.
